chemical must be added to the fuel if it is to be stored for a long
period of time.

often.
Generators begin to lose power as
they are taken to higher altitudes, about 1% for every 350m above sea
level.
A generator is noisy and it also
emits harmful fumes which need to be ventilated out of the generator
room.
Sustainable?
There is an
exhaustible amount of oil in the earth, required to make fuel for
generators. Apart from this generators also produce exhaust fumes which
are harmful to our planet.
