Advantages
Wind is free and wind farms require no fuel to run.

Produces no harmful waste or greenhouse gases.

The land beneath can usually still be used for farming.

Wind farms can also serve as a tourist attractions.

Disadvantages
Wind chargers require a certain amount of wind to operate. If this wind is not present then no energy will be created.

Suitable areas for wind farms are often near the coast, where land is expensive.

Some people feel that covering the landscape with wind chargers takes away from the beauty of a landscape.

Can affect television reception if you live nearby as well as be very noisy.

The single largest turbine manufactured today can only provide enough electricity for 475 homes when operating at full power.

As there are moving parts, the maintenance cost of these wind chargers are very high.

Sustainable?
There is no danger of exhausting the supply of wind.
